Points, XP and levels

The reward economy: daily claims, ranks, level roles and the leaderboard.

Two currencies

  • Points are spendable: raffle tickets cost points, and admins can adjust them with /adjust-points.
  • XP only goes up and drives levels on a rising curve.

A quest pays points per action completed (like, retweet, comment each carry their own value) plus XP; members can also /claim a daily bonus in #commands.

How leveling works

A fully completed quest and every daily /claim are worth 10 XP; a partly completed quest pays a proportional share of that. XP never resets, and each level costs a little more than the last — the jump to the next level grows by 100 XP each time (100, then 200, then 300…), so early levels arrive fast and higher ones reward sustained activity. Levels cap at 100.

/rank shows a member's exact progress to their next level.

Level roles

On Verification, map levels to Discord roles ("Level 10 grants @Regular"). When a member levels up, the role applies automatically on the next verification pass. Members keep the highest tier they've earned within your plan's limit.

Pick reachable thresholds. Because higher levels take real, sustained activity, a level in the 5–15 range makes a meaningful reward that active members can actually earn, while level 50+ would take months. Use the table above to gauge the effort behind each level.

Seeing where you stand

  • /rank renders a personal rank card with level, points and progress.
  • /leaderboard shows the top members in #leaderboard.
  • The Holders' Hall page on the hub has the full standings, and admins can export CSV.
