Fealty Verified

Fealty Verified is a status members carry from server to server: anyone whose Fealty account has a linked wallet (plus Discord or X) is Fealty Verified. Turn on the Fealty Verified role and your server gives a role to every member who has it. It's free on every plan.

Members verify once. In every other server that gives the role, they get it as soon as they join, without pressing anything.

Turning it on

Open Verification in your dashboard and find Fealty Verified role:

1. Switch on Give the Fealty Verified role.
2. Keep Create a Fealty Verified role to let Fealty make the role for you, or pick one of your own roles.
3. Save.

Fealty then goes through your members once and gives the role to everyone who already qualifies. The card shows how many members hold it and when that was last checked.

A role Fealty creates sits at the bottom of your role list, where Fealty can always assign it. Move it up, rename it, recolour it or gate channels with it as you like; Fealty keeps using it by its ID.

Safe by default

• The role Fealty creates has no permissions at all and can't be mentioned. Discord permissions only add up, so a role with none changes nothing: whatever @everyone can't do, members with the role still can't.
• Verified members get their own group in the member list. The role sits at the bottom, so staff and holder groups stay where they are; it only gathers members no higher group already lists. Prefer one list? Turn off Display role members separately from online members on the role in Discord.
• Fealty never touches channel permissions for it. The role opens a channel only if you add it to that channel's permissions yourself.
• No moderator or admin roles. Anyone who links a wallet gets this role, so Fealty refuses a role that can ban, kick, time out, manage the server, roles, channels or messages, mention @everyone and the like. If someone adds such a permission to the role in Discord later, Fealty stops handing it out and the dashboard says why until it's removed.

Who gets it, and when

• Joining: a member who is already Fealty Verified gets the role the moment they join your server.
• Verifying: a member who presses Verify holdings in #verify (or runs /verify) gets it once a wallet is linked.
• Linking a wallet on Fealty gives it in every server the member is in that has it switched on.
• Every day Fealty checks your members again, so the role always matches.

How it differs from other roles

• It follows the member. Unlinking their last wallet takes the role off in every server. Holder roles depend on what a wallet holds; Fealty Verified only on having one linked.
• Fealty adds and removes it. Pick a role nothing else grants: it can't be a holder rule's role, a level reward or the Early role. Fealty also takes it off members who don't qualify, so don't hand it out by hand.
• Switching it off stops Fealty from changing the role. Members who hold it keep it until you delete the role in Discord.
