Engagement credit
What X reads cost, the monthly allowance, and the Usage page.
Verified engagement isn't free: X charges for reading who liked, retweeted or replied. Fealty meters those reads against your server's engagement credit at official X API rates, whatever infrastructure serves them. Roughly: about a cent per 100 engagers read, and a cent per verified follow check.
Two buckets, spent in order
- Plan allowance. Paid plans include monthly credit ($10 / $25 / $60). It resets on each subscription-month anniversary, doesn't roll over, and ends with the subscription. Spent first.
- Purchased credit. Top up any amount from $5 (1 USDC = $1 credit). Never expires. Spent after the allowance.
New servers get a one-time $2 trial credit so the quest loop can be tested before paying anything.
When credit runs out
Nothing breaks and nothing finalizes incorrectly:
- Quests pause as
pausedwith the reason shown on the Quests page, and finalize automatically after a top-up. Awards are only billed when verification completes, so a paused quest never charges you twice. - Raffle draws hold instead of drawing unverified. The raffle shows a "draw paused" badge with the reason, entries stay closed, and the draw retries automatically after a top-up ("Draw now" retries instantly). If you'd rather not wait, "Draw anyway" runs the draw without X verification, as an explicit choice.
The same pause-and-retry behavior applies if X data reads fail on our side: nobody is disqualified and no quest goes unawarded because of an outage.
Tracking spend
The Usage page shows the live balance split by bucket, this month's and lifetime spend, every metered read with its cost, and your plan-limit meters. /credit in Discord shows the balance summary.
